By placing inverters on the roof, dangerous DC voltages are kept out of the building. The inverters are therefore always well ventilated and when using a PVshelter, the inverter is protected against rain and direct sunlight.
As the inverters are safely installed on the roof, they are easily accessible for inspection purposes, without utilizing valuable interior space. An additional advantage is that fan noise and vibrations from the inverters are kept outside.
